Silverette Nursing Cups

The cups can be worn under your nursing bra or with absorbent breast pads; simply place the pad over the Silverette cups, and your bra will keep everything secure.

1. Express a few drops of milk into each cup and position them directly over your nipples, securing them with your nursing bra.
2. Before breastfeeding, remove the cups and clean your nipples with warm water or a wipe. After feeding, rinse the cups with warm water, pat them dry, and repeat step 1 in between feeds.

Silver is a natural antimicrobial, antifungal, and antibacterial metal, also featuring anti-inflammatory properties. A simple rinse with warm water between feeds is enough to clean the cups.

Silverette® may tarnish over time due to natural oxidation, but it remains safe and effective for use. To remove tarnish, create a paste with one teaspoon of baking soda and a few drops of water. Gently rub the paste onto the cups, then rinse and pat dry.

While not necessary, you can also clean the cups with mild, base soap (like handwash soap).

Avoid using harsh detergents, bleach-based cleaners, sterilizing tablets, or abrasive scourers.

Buying the correct size of Silverette Nursing cups is very important to ensure they are going to provide optimal healing properties.

Start by measuring your Areola from one side to the other (the large coloured part around the nipple).

• REGULAR is recommended for breast cup sizes A to C, with an areola diameter of less than or equal to 45mm 
• EXTRA LARGE is recommended for breast cup sizes above C or areola diameter greater than 45mm
